Oxford Tower, Warsaw

The Oxford Tower is a skyscraper located in Warsaw (formerly known Twardej or Elektrim) located on the street Chałubiński 8. It was built from 1975 until 1978 according to the design of Jerzy Skrzypczak, H. Świergocka-Kaim, and Wojciech Grzybowski. The skyscraper is a blue-white building built in international style; a second similar building called Intraco I, which was built a few years earlier, is located at ul. Stawki. Rate. It is located next to the Centrum LIM skyscraper.

This building was one of the first typical skyscrapers in Warsaw, the Forum Hotel (now the Novotel Warszawa Centrum) and I Intraco. The skyscraper is part of the so-called Center West, built in order to shield and weaken the dominance of the Palace of Culture. Oxford Tower consists of Class B office space, which houses offices of such companies as Citibank Handlowy, Minex, Grappahl, Polservice, and AV investor Polferries. The headquarters of Elektrim were formerly housed in this building.
